Getting Away?
This week we sent a group of IB students to Medellin, Colombia. OK, it was virtual. They enjoyed a sustainability-themed cycle tour of the city with guides from Kagumu Adventures, and their teacher Ms Sanz. Most of this company's trips are in English but we opted for a Spanish version to challenge our Language B students.
Like the virtual cyclists, we will all be hoping to make some sort of escape next week but the traditional options such as travel and visiting friends etc will not be possible. I hope you are able to find creative activities to do together as a family that will give your children a break from remote learning and allow them to enjoy more in-person interactions. It is pleasing to see the temperature slowly creeping up and that will encourage us to get outdoors during the break.
Have a restful week and hopefully it won't be too many more weeks until we are all back in the building.
