Hopefully you have spotted the new 'Be Kind' banner on the Community Hub!  We thought it was an appropriate time as we come up to the break after a busy term to send out a general reminder to 'Be Kind'.

We have had new routines to deal with and as we are tired it is easy to snap and say something silly, so this last week before the break we want to remind everyone to think before they post a message.  In particular we want to stress that Chat Rooms have an extra danger due to the larger number of people present.  Essentially if you say something critical, hurtful or unkind to another person in a Chat room it's the equivalent of gathering a big crowd together and shouting it at that person for everyone else to hear.

We would appreciate if you have a chance to chat to your child/children this week and remind them to 'Be Kind'.  

I used to have a poster in my classroom which I always thought was a good reminder before posting any message - an acronym of THINK - although I accept that we can't be 'inspiring' in everything we say!
