From the Middle/High School Principal

 Comfort Zones

I have a copy of the image below on the wall of my office as a reminder to myself never to be afraid to try new things. Soon you will be receiving details of a couple of activity days for Grade 6-12 students later this semester. Middle School students will have a range of adventurous experiences to look forward to across both days, and one of the days for High School students will give them the opportunity to try a range of outdoor activities.

Kayaking, high ropes courses, raft building or go-karting may not be something your child has tried before but they represent an opportunity to move out of their comfort zone. Taking risks (safely), trying new things and developing new skills are important aspects of a child's education and development. We are excited after so many weeks of lockdown to be able to offer these team building experiences and I hope your son or daughter will grasp the opportunities (and ropes!) coming their way with both hands.
