Finishing Strongly
We now have just over two weeks to go and we are starting to enjoy our end of semester programme. Prom was hosted as an on campus event for Grades 11 and 12 last weekend and was a big success. The students enjoyed an Alice in Wonderland themed party and it was great to see our Grade 12s back together again. Those Grade 12s also have their Graduation ceremony to look forward to next week.
On Monday and Tuesday, Middle and High School classes won't be running due to our Activities Days and shortly after that Grades 9 and 11 students move into a period of revision ahead of their semester exams. Today Grades 8-11 students enjoyed connecting with some local professionals who gave them an insight into their careers and the high school advisory groups came together to watch the awards ceremony. The video of the presentations will be available on our Community Hub.
Though we would obviously like for more of these events to be in-person, cross-grade level affairs, I am thankful that we are able to offer them at all and hope that they represent some tentative steps towards a more typical school year in August.
