AMIS Jazz Festival

 

ISA is proud to host the return of the AMIS Jazz Festival & Jazz Skills Workshop to the world stage from September 29 - October 1, which is also the first time that ISA has ever hosted this festival!

We have 110 musicians coming to Scotland from Brazil, Thailand, South Korea, Germany, Spain, England, Oman, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Brussels, Luxembourg, Poland and Dubai.  Selected musicians have formed the AMIS Big Band, Vocal Jazz Ensemble & 3 Jazz Combos, while the remaining musicians spend a weekend learning about and playing jazz!

All day rehearsals being on Thursday September 29 through Saturday October 1.  Please feel free to stop by the QET to hear some of the rehearsals.
