Last Weeks
We are in the last few weeks of the school year. The season of ceremonies and concerts, reminiscence and celebration. As summer arrives we are outside for mile runs, sports days and house challenges. We are inside for exams. There is a lot going on at the moment and June the 14th, although long awaited, will arrive sooner than we expect.
So please make sure you keep up to date with what is going on with the Community Hub. The Daily Notices are at the top and you can screen down for the calendar. We also send out emails with more detailed information - these are also posted on the Hub, but if you are not getting any school emails, contact Alison Yesildag (Middle/High School) or Diane McBain (Preschool/Elementary) so we can work out what is wrong.
The last day is the 14th, but ending a school year is a process rather than a single event. Most of you think you will be back with us after the summer, ready for another year at ISA! Others are going back to their home countries or different parts of the UK. If you haven’t done so already, please keep us up to date with your plans, by completing the ‘Intention Form 2023-23’. If you are definitely withdrawing at the end of this academic year please ensure that you have completed the withdrawal form by logging into the Powerschool parent portal and have followed the leaving procedure.
Transitions are both exciting and tough - keep an eye on Valerie DeGraw’s articles in the Community Hub or get in touch with her directly if you are concerned about how your child is coping with either a move to a new school or a new grade level.
In the last weeks, do take the opportunities available to come into school for our ceremonies, concerts and other events. Whether you are coming or going, make sure you enjoy our community before the long summer. And please keep us informed of your plans
