A Preschool Thank You to Parents

Preschool staff and children would like to say thank you to the PTO for their generous contribution in acquiring outdoor sensory swings for our Secret Garden area. There have certainly been lots of fun and smiles when using them! These swings are not only an endless source of enjoyment but also play a crucial role in providing essential vestibular stimulation. This stimulation, in turn, significantly contributes to the development of motor skills, body awareness, and, most importantly, safety. A well-developed vestibular sense is fundamental as it aids in the enhancement of eye/head coordination, muscle tone, balance, and bilateral coordination. These skills and senses are pivotal in enabling a child to accomplish tasks such as catching a ball, zipping up a coat, using scissors, and riding a bike. Without a well-established vestibular sense, these activities would undoubtedly pose significant challenges. Thank you once again! The Preschool Team and Children
