Autumn Family Survey -  Feedback

Thank you for completing our Autumn family survey. Your feedback helps to guide general school interventions to ensure that we are looking after your child's academic, social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Results from the Autumn family survey showed that families are coping well with new school routines, and finding the information systems timely and helpful. There were many encouraging comments about learning, afterschool activities, parent WhatsApp groups, a feel of support through the community hub, and an appreciation for all the letters from core and advisory teachers to help with shared information between home and school. Some of you also listed suggestions that were helpful for us to think about.

Please don't hesitate to contact us re specific questions. Our contacts can be found on the CONNECTED section of the community hub.

5 Steps to Wellbeing - Student Survey

Twice a year we also do a safe and well survey with the middle and high school students and one of the topics in the survey are a reminder  of how often we are using the NHS 5 steps to wellbeing.  NHS has highlighted 5 steps to mental wellbeing that you might find useful for your family:

 - Make positive connections with family and friends
 - Be physically active
 - Learn new skills
 - Give to others (acts of kindness)
 - Pay attention to the present moment

If you want to read more about the 5 Steps, NHS has outlined some helpful ideas for each habit:  Five steps to mental wellbeing   The student survey will go out after October break.

Thank you for reaching out if you have questions!

Warm regards,

Valerie DeGraw
