Celebrations, Graduation and...

"Amplifiers"

A fellow teacher recently commented to me that it's important to get together for social events as a community, allowing for important check points in life...he then went on to describe how even transoceanic submarine cables often require amplifiers that are strategically placed along the cable to boost signals due to distance.

The ISA community recently celebrated with our own "amplifier" - our yearly graduation ceremony to celebrate the journey of our four year high school diploma and IB world school qualifications.
The coming together of family, teachers, and students is one of my favourite events of the year, and a reminder to pause and celebrate.  A special congratulations to the class of 2025!

High School graduation is an integral part of an international school education, and we've recently curated a hallway to celebrate the past years of ISA graduation ceremonies.  The students have enjoyed visiting and looking back at the group photos, while also looking forward to their own graduation some day.

A big thank you to Gayle Veitch, head of tech, for helping us to find the photos from over the years, and turn thought into reality with her creative designs.  Don't forget to come see our graduation hallway!

Warm regards,
