Grade 12 students are currently balancing finishing up on assignments along with supportive meetings with our High School Careers Counsellor, Ms Barker, to finalise their UCAS and College applications.
Recognising their busy schedules, Ms. Rea, Head of Grade 12, and our dedicated advisory teachers are offering a vital support system. They are providing space for both wellbeing and life skills, leading everything from fun, collaborative sessions like sushi making, to calming yoga and structured time simply to get organised.
The Pawsitive Power of De-Stressing
This week, we introduced a delightful dose of calm: a special visit from PAWS Therapets! The stress melted away the moment Fiona, Leo, and Hannah walked in with their furry, four-legged therapists: Leo, Jura, and Poppy. The students loved the chance to play and cuddle with the dogs, along with exchanging lighthearted stories with the trainers—a perfect mental health break.
The teaching staff will continue to support our seniors as they prepare for exams and look forward to celebrating their hard-earned graduation this spring.
Have a lovely weekend.
Warm regards,
Valerie DeGraw
School Counsellor
